Improve the mind-body connection and work towards a full sense of wellbeing
When you attend one of my Sussex Yoga classes ….
You will learn how a regular Yoga practice supports your body in finding its natural equilibrium, improving poor posture and breathing habits, and helping you to cultivate a sense of calm.
Research suggests that Yoga may offer considerable health benefits including helping to improve general wellness by relieving stress, supporting good health habits, and improving mental/emotional health, sleep, and balance.
Ultimately by practicing Yoga you will improve your long-term health and remain agile for longer.
You will discover the power of listening to your body through the practice of physical Yoga postures, breath work and meditation.
I will encourage you to work sensitively with curiosity and compassion when moving through each posture, so that you never move beyond the limits of your body or mind.
Through a regular Yoga practice we will gradually cultivate the right balance of strength and suppleness, to allow you to move freely and fully into the postures.
I am passionate about Yoga being accessible to every single body - I give detailed cues and varied options so you can truly make the practice your own. Many of the techniques you will learn are easily integrated into your life off the mat.
Begin a new relationship with yourself through Yoga
Yoga is something anyone can do. Even if you have never tried Yoga before you will be able to count on a warm smile and a person that truly cares about you. My goal is to empower anyone who attends my class to see their potential on and off the mat.
Most of my classes include Yoga postures, breath-work, meditation and guided rest, all of which will support you physically, energetically, emotionally and mentally.
What to wear and bring
If you have one, please bring your own mat, although I can provide a mat for you to borrow at class. I also have blankets and blocks for you to use although you might wish to bring your own. Wear something comfortable that has stretch - jogging pants or leggings are ideal.
Try a Yoga class for free and see if it’s right for you.
There’s no commitment, pressure, or obligation.
